Under the direction of the Head of Visinaries Management, and in conjunction with the Events Coordinator, provide a range of caretaking and porterage services. These include building fabric internal and external maintenance; assist in the delivery of a high standard of presentation of the site and working environment; ensuring Event and course requirements within rooms are delivered; first aid equipment maintained to standard; and support moves and changes as required to enhance service standards.
Principle Accountability / Responsibilities
>> Undertaking fabric repair; minor works; general maintenance and replacements.
>> Undertaking internal and external painting and decoration as required.
>> Provision of support to the Events function, namely the Events Co-ordinator, with room layouts, porterage and other duties as and when the need arises.
>> Maintaining first aid boxes with appropriate materials.
>> Undertaking churn activities e.g. moves and changes.
>> Distributing small deliveries throughout the site.
>> Providing on site escorting duties for external contractors and supplier deliveries, as required.
>> Cleaning and tidying work areas, collecting rubbish and cardboard; and emptying waste bins in support of recycling arrangements.
>> Coordinating car parking for Events.
>> Undertaking activities within competence as directed by Line Manager.
